Today with the autumnal equinox summer has officially come to a close. I really like spring and summer so for me this is a bit of a sad day as we go into shorter and shorter days. But alas, here in Madrid even on the shortest days there is still light until 6pm, so I should not complain. Today also was the first cool morning we have had all summer, a harbinger of weather to come.
