Today is a super blue moon and the next one won’t be until 2037!
let’s break that down:
- blue moon = second full moon in a month (happens every 2 to 3 years)
- super moon = when full moon is at the closest point of its elliptical orbit to the earth (known as “perigee”) (happens 3 or 4 times a year)
